• HTICK config question

From Dumas Walker@21:1/175 to All on Monday, March 02, 2026 16:20:56
I am getting these errors when running htick scan:

    /usr/local/bin/htick -c /home/bbs/ftn/etc/config toss scan "/home/bbs/ftn/etc/config", line 96: unrecognized: FileFixHelp /home/bbs/husky/htick/misc/filefix.hlp
"/home/bbs/ftn/etc/config", line 99: unrecognized: FileFixNames allfix filefix htick
    Please correct above error(s) first!

I copied those two commands directly from the manual but htick does not like them. With FileFixHelp, I did change the filepath, but FileFixNames was copied directly and not altered.

Removing them from the config file made htick run (although not sure it'd work without knowing what TO to scan for).

What should these config file commands really be called?

    Thanks!
    Mike

    Mine looks like this:

    robot filefix
    fromname Filefix robot
    robotorigin Filefix robot
    helpfile /home/ubuntu/fido/etc/filefix.hlp
    FileFixKillRequests yes
FileFixReportsAttr loc pvt k/s # kill filefix reports

Thanks, it seems to like this now that it is using the proper "helpfile"
and not the keyword found in the documentation. ;)
