I think MRC client/server is a closed-source project. You have to
contact the group/programmer who's responsible and ask for his
permission before making an attempt.
It's open source. There are 2 python files and 1 MPL file. There's nothing hard coded, and Gryphon even encouraged other people to edit it.
Stackfault edited the shit out of it and he hasn't been sued yet.
