There are a lot of sysOps that live in Florida, including myself. Love it! Been in Florida since 1981 when I moved from Detroit to Fort Lauderdale. There is no perfect place, but this isn't too bad.

I lived right in the city of Detroit. Got laid off from the police department in 1979 and moved to Fort Lauderdale area in January 1981 to work for the city there.

I had friends that I went to Wayne State with that lived in Lapeer, and my brother used to live there. He now lives right on Lake Orion with water access. He's the one with money. I was a civil servant :)

Going to brake my memory, I had a buddy that worked DPD Jeff Shrock worked
stress back in the day.

my stories into a recorder and writing a book. Time will tell.
Some would make you laugh, and some are horrible. Never a 'Routine Patrol' day because every one was different in some way. 2 years in Detroit and 21 in Lauderdale
provides a lot of stories.

I bet it would be a good book too, as a young man right out of high school
I worked at lynch road assembly plant so yes I bet you have good and bad
stories. I saw and learned a whole lot when working for Chrysler.

For that matter I think a lot of people would like reading what a police man
does see and deals with while in the force.

Write that book!
