If you haven't had a look at this YouTube channel I'd recommend giving it a go. The guy who runs it sounds like he used to be a radio DJ in the states but he does well researched and interesting movie trivia on a bunch of films I have enjoyed watching over the years.
I watched one recently about the history of the Planet of the Apes spaceship prop that had been used in several movies.
There's another interesting one about the early Star Wars films and trying to find copies of them that have not been 'updated' with all the extra FX that Lucas wanted added over time.
