• iMac's

    So I inquired two iMac's.

One is from 2007 and the other is from 2017.

What are some suggested ideas to bring these up to speed?

I was hoping for something like MorphOS, but it appears that will not work on this model since it's Intel.

Some version of WinDoze not exactly an update, or perhaps Linux of some flavour.

That's what I figured would be the answer.... Was curious if there was anything else out there besides Linux?

    I tossed on PopOS.

Is there a better reason to use NetBSD over a linux distro?

well NetBSD works on a 486 perfectly!
i mean it is quite useful for systems that are too slow and old (like very old 1990s)

Makes sense. So far PopOS on this 2013 is working pretty good.

So after a day of playing around with these and loading PopOS on them. I really don't have a use for them.... :/

Anyone interested in buying these from me for a small chage plus shipping?

So what was PopOS like for the 2013?

I have an old 2013 iMac and was thinking of throwing linux on it.
